syafana.com Alhamdulillah Syafana Graha held a Book week event, the purposes of this activity were to introduce students awareness to books early, also to increase students creativities and improve their reading habits. The participants of this activity were students, teachers and staff.
The first agenda’s item in book week was storytelling. The students showed enthusiasm during the storytelling time and performances. The students were taught how to read books properly and how to keep their books, they also practiced wrapping their books with plastic covers. Beside that there were storytelling competition for kindergarten level. An attraction of this event was the costume parade, the students and teachers wore costumes based on book characters likes Cinderella, Ballerina, Snow white and more. They walked in the street in front of the school carrying a slogan and yelling to invite interest.
