Last week Thursday, May 19, 2011. P1 students had their 2nd excursion by visiting “Sinpasa” modern market, so as to gain an understanding of a real transaction by using money. They bought cakes and beverages. They didn’t only do shopping, but also learn how to differentiate coin and notes in rupiah and know the exchanging money when they did the transaction. The activity is in line with mathematics. Alhamdulillah, all P1 students enjoyed it. They learnt mathematics through shopping. It was fun. They finally came back to school at snack time and ate the cake that they’ve bought at “Sinpasa”. Our thanks to P1 Parents who have supported activity.
